Heart to Cart

Heart to Cart is a Stride for Stride program that was launched in 2020 to purchase supermarket gift cards for people who were struggling to put food on the table during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

 

During the pandemic Heart to Cart delivered $70,000 in $100 supermarket gift cards to our ​runners, their families, and the immigrant communities in Chelsea, Lynn, Revere and East Boston, Massachusetts.

In 2025, Stride for Stride relaunched Heart to Cart to provide food assistance to anyone on our team who needs the support. We anticipate 2025 to be a challenging year for our immigrant communities and therefore we're relaunching Heart to Cart with a $20,000 fund. To donate to that fund please click here.
