Heart to Cart

Heart to Cart - a program of Stride for Stride - purchases supermarket gift cards for people who are struggling to put food on the table during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

In April 2020, Stride for Stride launched Heart to Cart to purchase supermarket gift cards for our runners, their friends, their family, and their communities who who are struggling to put food on their table. 

​

To date, Heart to Cart has delivered $60,000 in supermarket gift cards. We focus on purchasing Market Basket gift cards for immigrant communities in Chelsea, Lynn, Revere and East Boston, Massachusetts.

In 2021 Heart to Cart has a goal of donating $150,000 in supermarket gift cards. Donate to Heart to Cart: please click here or text CART to 44-321.

Going forward Stride for Stride will continue to add programs that support the physiological and safety needs of our runners and the communities where they live.
